Details: Prichard Preparatory will use the grant to improve safety on the campus. The project includes installing new security cameras, repairing and reinforcing the perimeter fence, and implementing badge scanners for building access.

Focus Area: Health & Wellness

Details: Feeding the Gulf Coast will use their grant to expand their food bank facility in Theodore, AL. Food insecurity continues to rise in Mobile County, where the rates is the highest in five years. 


2022: Mulherin home

AWARD: $102,000

Focus area: Health & wellness

Details: Mulherin Home used the grant to replace the facility roof, rebuild a privacy fence, and purchase a new commericial washer/dryer

2023: Dumas Wesley

AWARD: $117,500

Focus Area: family

Details: Dumas Wesley used the grant for their community center’s transitional housing program, the Sybil Smith Family Village. They renovated the program’s 18 apartments located on their main campus

2024: Penelope House

Details: Penelope House used the grant to improve security at their facility.
